The History of Peter Copsey Engineering .

Peter Copsey Engineering was established in 1979, since then the company has continued to expand and is now based in a 7,500 square feet factory on Industrial Estate East in Witham, Essex.

For over twenty seven years Peter Copsey Engineering has provided solutions to our customers’ engineering problems, with our skilled workforce, 24 hour operation, and a wide range of materials held in stock, the company continues to provide an efficient and effective response to new and existing customers’ needs.

Our factory is situated within sight of the A12 and within 20 minutes of the M25 J28, allowing us to support our customers quickly using our own vehicles.

Our product range covers wide to fine tolerance components from many sectors including the following: -

8. Pharmaceutical machinery
9. Specialist rally components

Quantities range from one off to high volume, the latter being supplied via schedules, usually on monthly call off.

Our customer base is wide and most of our customers do not require approvals for us to supply them with parts, however we do complete first article inspection (F.A.I.) on new work, for those customers that require it.

Machine capacities are detailed on the following pages. Peter Copsey Engineering has invested in leading edge machine tools to enable us to be competitive in today’s market place, this will continue as our demand for capacity increases and existing machines are updated.

Processes that are out of our field would be handled by one of the many companies we work with whilst staying under the control and responsibility of Peter Copsey Engineering.  We can manage the supply of the component from design, if required, to completion, including processes such as painting and plating.
