The decision to purchase a global machine was due to the increase in demanding and complicated components we are able to manufacture.
For this reason along with the fact that the 5-Axis machine has the ability to create very complex parts we can now feel confident that we have a method of confirming the accuracy of those parts.

Rapid Prototyping Dimension SST 1200 3D Printer

This machine produces durable working models from ABS (acrynitrile butadiene styrene) plastic, parts can be made in a choice of colour, produced from a stl file which can be exported from most CAD modelling systems. Moving assemblies can be produced in one process using the soluble support technology. This removes the support material in an agitation bath leaving the finished ABS part / assembly ready for use.Parts can be made larger than the machines capacity by creating a join on the model and fixing together once finished.

Other additions:

In 2006 we also invested in a Gravograph CNC Engraver.  Many customers rely on us as a one stop shop and the engraver enables us to finish their components in a professional way.  As well as basic engraving, we also have the facility for importing customers logos, artwork etc which can then be scaled and engraved on flat or curved components.

Solid Works design software has also been purchased which is used for our own in-house design as well as aiding customers to complete their designs.
